Many restaurants are participating by offering discounts or free food. For instance, Whataburger is giving teachers a free breakfast item (Taquito with cheese or Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit) every day from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. with a valid school ID. Buffalo Wild Wings is providing a 20% discount for teachers and school staff throughout the week. Chipotle is running a giveaway where 100,000 teachers can win a free burrito e-gift card by signing up online. Logan’s Roadhouse is offering 20% off entrĂ©es for educators from May 5th to May 12th. Smoothie King is giving a 20% discount on in-store orders starting May 6th with a teacher ID, and Burger King is offering free fries with any purchase for teachers.
Retailers are also getting in on the appreciation. Michaels is offering 15% off all purchases for teachers, including sale items. Office Depot and OfficeMax are giving 30% back in Bonus Rewards on qualifying purchases. Staples has a 20% discount on in-store purchases with a teacher ID and a coupon. Adobe has a significant 60% discount on their Creative Cloud All Apps plan, and Apple offers exclusive education pricing on Macs and iPads. Peacock is also offering premium streaming for a reduced monthly rate for 12 months.
