How to celebrate National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day by paying tribute to those who serve.
On January 9th, which is National Police Enforcement Appreciation Day, people express their gratitude to police enforcement.
According to the National Day Calander, law enforcement personnel of all ranks and ranks make the difficult and frequently underappreciated decision to serve their communities by risking their lives every day.
They rarely know what the days ahead hold, and their occupations frequently require them to work long hours away from their family without gratitude. To keep communities safer, however, law enforcement typically coordinates with other local, state, and federal agencies.
In 2015, several groups established National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day as a way to honor law enforcement personnel for the numerous sacrifices they make on a daily basis for their communities. The following are a few groups that are supporting the observance:
Concerns of Police Survivors
Officer Down Memorial Page
International Conference of Police Chaplains
Law Enforcement United
International Association of Chief of Police
National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund
National Troopers Coalition
