Trinity the soccer star daughter of Dennis Rodman

Trinity Rodman, a member of the Washington Spirit and USWNT, was candid about her tense relationship with her father, five-time NBA champion Dennis Rodman.

During her appearance as a guest on the most recent episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, “The Truth About My Family,” Trinity talked about her challenging childhood and how Rodman’s partying lifestyle with “random b–hes” wasn’t a good fit for her.

Trinity told presenter Alex Cooper, “We had an expedition and we kind of lived in that for a little bit,” adding that some people might think that growing up, money wasn’t a problem for her. We attempted to live with him, but he brings in weird b-ches and throws parties all the time. He enjoys being in the spotlight. He adores the cameras.

Michelle Moyer, Rodman’s third wife, is Trinity’s mother. In 2004, Moyer filed for divorce, and it was finalized in 2012.

The former Bulls star is the parent of two other kids.

Trinity continued to talk about the touching experience she and Rodman had together when he took her by surprise during a Spirit win in an NWSL playoff game in November 2021.

The USWNT forward clarified that the reunion wasn’t as joyful as the fans had assumed.

“I’m crying, and I’m thinking, ‘Dude, my dad’s here,’ because nobody knows what the f–k is going on,” Trinity remembered, noting at the time that it had been months since she had spoken to her father. He grabs my head as I approach, and once more, cameras are all around. I start crying into his arms as though we were father and daughter—

“After losing hope that I would ever get him back, I now answer the phone so that my conscience will tell me, ‘He needed to hear my voice.'” I answer the phone for that reason, not for myself. He may not be a father by blood, but that is all that matters.

Trinity clarified that she hadn’t talked extensively about her father in order to preserve his reputation, but she acknowledged that her repressed rage made it hard to keep quiet.

“At the expense of sort of holding it in a lot, we never want to make him look bad,” she stated. “I suppose I just find it hard to express the anger that I haven’t been able to.”
