Phil Robertson Duck Dynasty has been diagnosed

Jase, Phil’s son, claims that his father has a blood condition that is “causing problems with his entire body.”

The family of Phil Robertson is providing an update on the health of their patriarch.

The son of the Duck Dynasty alum, Jase, disclosed that his father is in the “early stages” of Alzheimer’s disease on the Friday, December 6 edition of the Unashamed with the Robertson Family podcast.

“Phil’s condition is not good. I believe I was on the thousandth podcast. He stated, “We were trying to determine the diagnosis, but the doctors are certain that he has some kind of blood disease that is causing all kinds of problems.”

According to Jase, 55, the illness has “accelerated, and it’s causing problems with his entire body.”

Additionally, he has Alzheimer’s in its early stages. When you combine those factors, it’s clear that he’s not doing well. He’s having a lot of trouble,” he continued.

Along with Jase, Phil, 78, has three sons: Al, Jep, and Willie. He shares these children with his wife, Kay, also known as Miss Kay. Additionally, Phil is the father of Phyllis, a girl.

According to Jase, his dad, who participates in the podcast but wasn’t on the episode, wants to go back to work.

“Well, Phil, your memory isn’t what it used to be, and you can hardly move without yelling in agony,” I said. “Tell me about it,” he says. He remarked, “I believe he would agree that he is literally unable to just sit down and have a conversation.”

The Mayo Clinic states that forgetting recent discussions or occurrences is one of the early signs of Alzheimer’s disease, the most prevalent cause of dementia. Over time, the illness impairs a person’s capacity to perform daily chores and can cause severe memory loss, the group warns.

“We’re trying to do a lot of things to figure out how to make him more comfortable and maybe help with his memory,” Jase added.

“We have a group of doctors, and another group of doctors is examining all the tests, and they all agree that there is no way to cure what he has. So what do you do, you know? Our goal is to help him feel a little more at ease,” he stated.
